We are fairly certain that TIME needs no introduction, but just in case… TIME is an American weekly news magazine published in New York City and has the world's largest circulation for a weekly news magazine. We worked with their online marketing team to ensure they stayed that way – developing a series of subscriptions pages with the aim of improving conversion rates.
Magazines need subscribers, and the website is key in allowing new subscribers to join. Simply put, this needed to work.
Underneath the clean facade, lies a plethora of complicated decisions about design, functionality and usability. Things like displaying an offer based on the selected country, form validation that aids the users rather than deter them. In fact, there are too many to list. Other requirements that had an impact on the final result included: the pages needed to be responsive, they also needed a multi-page and single-page version for A/B split testing, clear explanation of the digital/print packages and, of course, it needed to be 'on brand'.
We are very proud of the end result and the collaboration with the Time Magazine team and so were they.
